Make a Difference — One Family, One Hour at a Time

Our learning community depends on volunteers committed to the vision of uplifting children and parents. This service-minded approach amplifies our collective impact on families by leveraging the skills of diverse community members. Our programs allow volunteers to engage as a participant in the learning process, and achieve personal growth alongside those we serve. These contributions add depth to our programs to better serve the needs of our children, parents, and community.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Outreach is a critical part of our effort to identify family needs, gaps in services, and opportunities to have the greatest impact on our community. We are in search of ambassadors to build connection with families and to extend our reach into the community.

  • We are always eager to connect with partners to improve services for parents and children. This can include employers, government agencies, neighborhood associations, and schools. Building such partnerships requires an ambition to pioneer new approaches to serving families, and identifying mutually beneficial objectives that can amplify our collective impact on our community.

  • The needs of parents and children are constantly in flux. Often, programmatic decisions are based on assumptions rather than parent input. We are gathering insight from parents and community members so our programs can be responsive to the genuine needs of families.
